Lt. Eric Shine is a graduate of the
United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point and is an expert
in the history of the United States Merchant Marine, as well as issues
relating to shipping issues and national security.
In his role as a whistle blower, Lt. Shine has taken his USMM oath, Acto
Non Verba or “Deeds Not Words” to new heights. Lt. Shine has been the
subject on hundreds of articles and has appeared on numerous television
and radio programs nationwide including shows on Air America, Voice of
America, and Pacifica Radio.

in 1890.
